SPENIX FIELD GUIDE · BASKETBALL COSTS
The short answer: Your price depends on the actual jersey-and-shorts specification, decoration, quantity and delivery. Ask for a written quote; a generic online price cannot confirm what your team will pay.
If one quote says “uniforms from…” and another gives a complete delivered order, the smaller number may not be the cheaper option. The right comparison is the same finished kit, in the same quantity, with the same included costs. This guide deliberately does not invent a Spenix price list.

What changes the price?
| Cost factor | What to clarify | Why it changes the comparison |
|---|---|---|
| Items included | Jersey only or jersey and shorts? | A set contains more than a top |
| Material and construction | Fabric, cut, panels and finish | Different specifications are different products |
| Decoration | Process, coverage, names and numbers | Personalisation and setup can change scope |
| Quantity | Total units and minimums by style or colour | A small add-on may price differently |
| Sampling | Sample, revision and shipping charges | Approval costs may be separate |
| Delivery | Freight, taxes, duties and other applicable charges | The delivered total may exceed the unit subtotal |
Ask every supplier the same question
Use a short, specific request: “Please quote 14 jersey-and-shorts sets in the attached design, with the listed player numbers and names, delivered to this destination by the required date. Show samples, shipping and other charges separately.” Add your sizes and required construction. Do not send slightly different specifications to each supplier and then compare the totals as if the products were identical.
The tech-pack guide helps organise that request. For visual direction, our basketball design guide is useful, but a mood board does not replace a priced specification.
Use a budget example carefully
Here is illustrative arithmetic only. Imagine a team needs 14 sets and a supplier quotes $50 per set, plus $80 in other costs. The calculation is 14 × $50 + $80 = $780. Dividing the complete total by 14 gives about $55.71 per player. These are made-up planning inputs, not market averages, a current supplier quote or a Spenix offer.
| Example line | Calculation | Illustrative amount |
|---|---|---|
| Uniform subtotal | 14 sets × $50 | $700 |
| Other entered costs | Example allowance | $80 |
| Example order total | $700 + $80 | $780 |
| Example share per player | $780 ÷ 14 | About $55.71 |
Team-order calculator
Change the numbers to plan your order. Prices are your own inputs, not a Spenix quote. This tool does not send or store your entries.
Formula: players × sets per player + extra sets. Budget = total sets × entered set price + other costs. Taxes, freight, duties and fees must be included in your own inputs. If your browser disables the tool, use these formulas directly.
A second colourway can change the whole order
Under the 2026 FIBA rules, teams need at least two sets of shirts, with other colour provisions. Your competition may use different requirements, so check it directly. Do not budget for one shirt per player and discover later that the event expects another colour option.

Separate required pieces from optional extras
Put the playing kit on one line and warm-ups, bags and supporter items on separate lines. This gives the team a clear core cost. If families are contributing, tell them what is compulsory and what they can choose not to buy. Avoid hiding optional items inside a large package total.
Compare quotes fairly
- 01 →Match the scopeUse the same product and personalisation.
- 02 →Add the extrasInclude delivery and relevant charges.
- 03 ✓Review the totalCompare the complete order, not the teaser price.
Check the cost of the next order too
Ask how replacements are priced and whether a small quantity can be produced later. Keep the approved artwork and style details. A low first-order figure may not be the whole story if your club regularly needs a few new sizes or late additions. Do not assume the original unit price will remain available indefinitely.
The Adobe raster-versus-vector guide also explains why original artwork files matter. Ask the supplier whether file cleanup is needed and whether it adds a charge before approval.
Quick answers
What is Spenix’s exact price for my team?
Request a written quote with your quantity, items, material, artwork, personalisation and delivery needs. The examples here do not set a selling price.
Does a larger order always mean a lower total?
The unit price may change, but ordering more items still affects the total. Compare the quote and buy only quantities your team can justify.
How can we reduce the budget without guessing quality?
Ask for separate options with fewer optional items or simpler decoration while keeping the required fit and construction clear. Review a sample rather than assuming all cheaper specifications are equivalent.
Build a kit your team will want to wear.
Send Spenix your roster size, design idea and required arrival date. Ask for a written breakdown of materials, decoration, sizes, shipping and any extra costs before you approve production.
